Welcome

We are a non-denominational church who is welcoming, friendly, and God-loving. We are pretty simple really. We don’t try to be complicated, or judgmental, or require a bunch of hoops to jump through to worship with us. If you look inside on any given Sunday, you will find young families, single moms, divorced dads, middle-aged couples, and grandparents of all shapes and sizes. We have faults, we bring our failures, we bring our struggles, and we join together to “do life” together as Christian Believers. Some of us are just learning what that means - others have been walking with the Lord for decades. We welcome all people to come and learn from God’s Word and worship Him together each Sunday - to make friends, and join a community. So bring your broken self, your mistakes and your baggage and join us as we work each week to learn more about Jesus, walk better in Jesus, and thank Jesus for all He’s done for us!

Who We Are

What We Believe

Jerusalem Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian Church which bases its foundational roots in truths found in the Holy Bible.  Our members believe and teach the following:

·       our Lord God in Heaven is the one true Creator of everything in the heavens and on Earth;

·       the Holy Bible is the only inspired Word of God and the truths and principles presented in its pages are what all mankind must obey and uphold;

·       Jesus Christ is the one true Messiah and was miraculously conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary;

·       Jesus Christ is part of the Holy Trinity which includes Christ, God Almighty, and the Holy Spirit;

·       Jesus is the Savior of the world, and the only way to be reconciled with God;

·       Jesus Christ was crucified as a sacrifice for mankind’s sin, buried, and raised again the third day, and is now living and seated at the right hand of God;

·       belief and faith in Christ, repentance, confession and baptism through immersion is the only divinely appointed means of accepting Christianity;

·       the Holy Spirit may come upon, or convict, a person to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior through baptism.  Upon being baptized, a believer receives the gift of the Holy Spirit which then dwells within them; and,

·       the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life will manifest itself by them exhibiting the Fruits of the Spirit, and will be evidenced in a lifestyle of obedience to Christ while here on Earth until they enter an enteral life of reward in heaven.
